Sun Grove Montessori School has partnered with the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens to present the First Annual International Festival to be held on Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 12 - 5 p.m. at the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens.

We are asking community-based nonprofit organizations to set up educational exhibits or to set up “International” game or craft booths in our Children’s area. Sun Grove will provide face painting and bounce houses. Ms. Terri is the chair for the Children’s Area committee.

There will also be a “Raffle Auction” where all ages can take a chance at winning a variety of items such as gift baskets, gift certificates for services, theme park tickets, or even sports memorabilia. Ms. Cathy is the chair for this committee.

An International Festival would be nothing without all the wonderful foods and entertainment the world has to offer so we are also soliciting food vendors and entertainment. Ms. Melissa is the chair for the “Food Committee”.

We are looking for a parent volunteer to serve as chair for the “Entertainment Committee”.

As not-for-profit organizations, both Sun Grove Montessori School and Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens depend upon the involvement and generosity of community leaders, businesses and restaurants, as well the efforts of dedicated volunteers (parent “hours” are available!), to make local events like this, a success.

Mr. Ken is the chair for “Vending and Tickets”.
